Well thank you for voicing your thoughts. I have found many feminists are pro-choice.

Abortion is more a question of life than it is a question of rights. You say that it is the woman's choice yet that choice revolves around taking a human life. The baby’s rights are not superior to the mothers, or the mother's to the baby. In my opinion they are equal.

Since you are not a feminist, then don't speak for all feminists.
I am pro-choice, which doesn't mean that couples can not choose, but on the most part after the woman finds out she is pregnant the guy is long gone. In fact, I am sure a lot of them get pressured into having abortions when they do not want them versus pressure from the guy to keep it.
Pro-choice is just that, giving the couple or woman the right over her own body.
Feminists do not believe in any kind of violence, that is why they are advocating for women all over the world the ability to live without it.
If it were not for feminists, husbands until 1981 had the legal right to rape their own wives.
The great thing about this whole thing is that you can believe in what ever you want, as long as you do not force me to believe in the same thing!
Feminists may not believe in the whole rib thing, but they are the ones that advocate for raising healthy boys and men versus the stereotypical male who hides his feelings in alcohol, drugs, sex and violence.
Wake up! Pro-life isn't the problem, the anti-woman is thinking that every woman should believe the way you do, not all solutions work for all women.

While I have some reservations about the legalities of abortion (though I don't like abortion at all), I am in full agreement that the choice should be by both parties. No, I don't believe a woman should have the right to abort a child if the father does not want that.

I personally don't believe that abortion is a viable option, even if the woman was raped. After all, a life is a life; however, I'm not sure how the laws (in any country) should handle it.

I believe in focusing on prevention rather than punsihment. Many women who have had abortions did not want to do it, but did it because they felt it was the best thing. While I may disagree with their choice, I'm not sure they should be penalized.

So, in short, it is a blossoming life, and it isn't just the woman's 'blossom.'

I am glad, Rose, that we all have a forum to speak our heart, because it is our heart that injects the human into our knowledge and knowledge that enables our heart and we need both. Not sure that made sense to anyone, now that I read it, but I am hoping. I am glad you chose to speak up.
