Shelly at This Eclectic Life thought I deserved an award. She stated that my blog made her ponder a new idea from a fresh perspective. I’m not only flattered, but I’m honored to receive this award from her. Now that I have been given the award I must award five blogs with real merits, i.e. relative content, and above all – blogs that really get me thinking!” I’m awarding people, in no particular order of preference.
Well Shelly, right back at you. This Eclectic Life can be described in two words funny and entertaining. Shelly the blog owner of This Eclectic Life shares stories that are both amusing and gets her readers thinking. Shelly’s latest post The “Teenage Brain” had me in stitches. She is definitely one blogger to check out.
Viola Jaynes is not only a sweet person, but she is a brilliant writer. When life presents you with difficulties Viola gives you this new outlook on life. I really don’t think that Viola knows how her blog Spiritual Things Matter has touched me. Viola writes on so many issues such as abandonment, death, forgiveness, honesty, loneliness and an unconditional love and strength that can only be found through Jesus Christ. Maybe it sounds silly, but I really believe that Viola and my paths were meant to cross.
“When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.” We have all heard that saying before. When your only tool is a hammer is a blog that is so very different from the other blogs that I’ve awarded. Hammer the author of the blog has no problem saying what is on his mind. He tells it like it is and doesn’t hold anything back. His blog description reads “I cannot be nailed down with labels.” I don’t think anything holds hammer down. His blog definitely makes me think.
Peri from Peri wrinkle has a great sense of humor. I enjoy reading her thoughts on life, work and being a single mom raising a teenage daughter. I applaud her for maintaining a sense of humor through it all. Peri, how do you do it?
Invading Holland is a blog about an Englishman in his late 20s who moved to Holland in the summer of 2001 to start working in the computer games industry as a designer. Stu of Invading Holland is both funny and artistic. His blog will have you laughing as you follow him throughout his life in Holland.
There you have the five blogs that I think are deserving of a thinking blog award.
