Dear readership, I talk about sex and I am apparently more open to talking about sexual topics on my blog than I should be. Um, ok! What has made sex such a taboo subject that it would come across as improper?
Sex is natural, so I don’t understand why it is so taboo to some. Sex dominates life. It is everywhere we look. It is in the media, movies, television, magazines etc.
Yes my children who are both teens view my blog from time to time, but there is nothing on my blog about sex that they both don’t already know.
For both my children sex education at school started when they were in the forth grade and when we think about it we begin talking to our children about sex at a very early age. All children will eventually ask their parents where babies come from and I can guarantee that it will be before they hit the forth grade.
I just get a laugh out of some people who make it appear that my blog is some sex blog or something. Well, they just increased my traffic. “Laugh”
Speaking of sex, did you know that according to inventory.overture in Feb alone there were 4630197 searches done for the term sex.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

I remember having the babies talk with my mum when I was little. I just brought the subject up on day out of the blue while we were out walking.

There is a big difference in the term sex and pornagraphy. Sex is a very beautiful thing, it is also very natural. Although beign seperated for a year, I am no longer a expert. My little girl is just in kindergarten and she is already asking me where the heck babies come from. I told her that when she got older all she would have to do is call a doctor and he would deliver her one. But it is not going to be long before I really have to talk to he about it. When the time comes I will ask you “Rose” to write a post and give me some pointers.

Sex is always an interesting subject to talk about. Everyone is interested in it yet, like you say, some seem to have an issue wanting to discuss is openly and honestly. I still have not figured out how I want to write about it on my blog.
I agree, kids need to know and the best way for them to find out the “truth” is through their parents. I would rather tell them the way things are instead of waiting till strangers do it. Hmm, just knowing the right age though. Mine are 7 and 9. They already know some stuff simply because they have wondered.

Teena, apparently I do and according to the trolls down in trollville one troll said, “It’s not Rose’s place to lure my child to her site and then fill her head with information about group masterbation. ”
I had no idea that I was luring children to my site and filling their heads with information about group masturbation; furthermore parents should supervise their child’s internet sessions. I’m so offended that I was called an “irresponsible pervert.” Not! Irresponsible is the parent that does not supervise their children and then places the blame onto someone else. I cannot get over the false accusations made. Let them talk. Opinions are like assholes and every one is entitled to them, but their opinion is nothing more than a pile of crap.
Dwayne, I don’t think some really know the difference between pornography, adult in nature, sexually explicit and subtle innuendos. I have just added an Adult Supervision Recommendation to my blog. I’d be happy to give you some advice whenever that time comes.
Viola, I’ll be interested in seeing your post. Perhaps you could talk about sex and religion. I think that it is important to talk to your children about sex the moment that they begin asking.

Also, a known devil is better than an unknown angel.. Its better to know what things are all about, rather than being kept in the dark and when reality hits you hard in one’s face.
