First I read in the news about a woman who was convicted and sentenced to 19 years in prison Friday for killing her husband, chopping his body into small pieces and frying it. This is just disgusting and then I read in the news about a man who burned his ex-girlfriend’s body for days on a Barbeque patio grill after strangling and dismembering her body. What is this world coming to?

These are not the worst things I have heard lately. About a month ago here in North Carolina a mother went home to find her six year old lying in the hall way and had been decapitated. The bad things is, these people know they are going to get the death penalty and still do these things. I ask myself the same question Rose, What is this World coming to?

That guy who burned his girlfriend on the patio: all the neighbors saw the thick black smoke, noticed the horrible smell…one man even called the fire department who actually went there but were persuaded to leave again. I was thinking to myself ‘What was wrong with those neighbors’ but then I realized that no one would automatically assume a human was being burnt. I certainly wouldn’t.

Too much obsession, possessivenees & dependence on the other are the cause of such extreme shocking actions.
all we need is to learn & teach the art of self awareness & being complete within ourself.
Meditation is a must …..must be there in schools…a blissful person can’t harm anyone.

Rohit, I think it is going to take more than meditation to prevent someone who is obviously sick and disturb like this from murdering their sufficient other.
