This weeks Photo Hunt theme is empty. I am up really early as I’m taking part in Shutdown day on Saturday and won’t be on the computer, but I did not want to miss the photo hunt.
Last summer my son found a bird’s nest with a baby bird trapped inside. Some string from the nest had gotten tangled around the bird’s leg. My husband was able to unwrap the string from his leg and free the bird. Here is a photo of the emtpy bird’s nest.

I can’t show you a photo of the nest without showing you our free feathered friend.

I sure hope our neighbor’s cat didn’t get him.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

It’s always such a thrill when a child or teenager rescues a bird. It was nice that you posted the picture of the bird as well. He looks so alert.

That is so neat. I would have never thought of a brids nest. I am not shutting down on sat. we spend most of our time catching up on things we read on line etc over the weekends. (we do take part of the day to play though and do other things) Besides I have to visit all the photo hunt pages *giggle*
