This is nothing like the “To Catch a Predator” aired on NBC Dateline. The W5 report, titled “Save the Children” is an extremely disturbing look at the pedophiles that that are underground, exchanging child pornography, and trading full-length movies of babies being raped.
The law enforcement that are in this episode, are the ones that have to deal with this sad reality on a daily basis. In the episode, a 3 time sexual offender calmly talks about what he has done, insisting it’s the children who want to have sex with him. I couldn’t believe it.
You’ll also see now retired Detective Sergeant Paul Gillespie disappointment with the justice system. It’s not enough to just read the article; you have to watch the four part episode.
This is just another reason why I feel that catching online predators should be left to trained law enforcement. They are doing their job.
Again, the episode, which can be viewed at ctv.ca is very disturbing. Thank you to Leo Knight, a former Canadian police officer, security expert and media commentator for linking to this story.

Well I couldn’t get the videos to load, because of my slow computer, but I read the whole article. Mere words can not describe how I feel. Just reading the article made my stomach do flip flops thinking about all the torture these children go through, and how these people that do this to them, often times get off with a slap on the wrist.
Very disturbing.

Rose, I watched the videos and I must say that you are so right. We must leave these investigations to law enforcement. I am so heart sick and very disturbed by this. I never realized that this was so far out of hand. It’s more than just pedophiles on the prowl, much more. Thanks for opening my eyes to this horrendous problem. I applaud Canada for the work they are doing on this. I can truly understand why we must let the professionals deal with this and why private groups need to stand down. Thanks again my friend, I can see that you are well informed.

Steve, I was quite shaken after viewing it too. Shawn & the children viewed it & then we discussed it. It was very disturbing.
Brian, this shouldn’t be happening to children, but sadly it does each and every day, around the world. According to an article that I was reading in the Associated Press, Toronto police and Microsoft Canada launched the Child Exploitation Tracking System. It was Paul Gillespie plea to Bill gates that resulted in the developing of this system, which is the first software designed specifically to capture pornographers who prey on children. At least Canada is on top of one thing.

You have raised a very vital issue. How people ,with perverted minds, are treating innocent children.Highlighting such problems will definitely bring positive results.Keep it up.My best wishes.
