My daughter Miss Pink is taking part in this weeks Thursday Thirteen. We were discussing at the table what she was going to blog about and she said that she thought about posting thirteen things she loved about her boyfriend, but it was hard coming up with the list as they have not been dating that long.
When two people have been together a long time they start to love even the littlest things about the other person.
What can I say? I’m a lucky woman. I have the most wonderful man in my life. So for today’s Thursday Thirteen, I have decided to list 13 things I love about my husband Shawn.
Thirteen Things I love about Shawn
I love the way he can always make me laugh.
I love how he sings “What A Wonderfull World” by Louis armstrong.
I love how he always want to cuddle at night.
I love it when he brings me home flowers for no reason at all.
I love it when he washes my hair and helps me step out of the bath tub.
I love how after 18 years he still holds my hand.
I love how he always know when I’m upset.
I love how he cared for my mother.
I love how he’ll stop whatever he is doing to make me a coffee.
I love how he cooks, does the dishes and laundry without complaining.
I love how he puts up with me even when I’m moody.
I love that he doesn’t care that my body has changed and I have put on weight since we first met.
I love that he chose me to spend the rest of his life with.

Beautiful list. I did this a couple of weeks ago, I think the men in our life need to know we appreciate the little things they do. I think sometimes men think it’s the grand gestures they make, make us happy, when it’s all these little things that make us fall back into love again.
