This weeks theme is soft. I would just like to thank my son JD at Digital Frenzy, who suggested I take a photo of the following soft item.

Suddenly Mr. Whipple comes to mind saying “Please don’t squeeze the Charmin!” This isn’t Charmin toilet paper, but it is just as soft.
Have you noticed that toilet paper manufacturers have not only given you fewer sheets per roll, but the cost of toilet paper has gone up?
Would you look at that? Is this what I have become? I’m sitting here talking about toilet paper on the internet. It is all tnchick’s fault. “Laugh” Have a great weekend folks.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

It’s important that the TP is soft eh? Happy Photohunting Rose

That is good, I thought about that or a picture of some marshmallows but went with a picture of our puppy instead. Though I have to admit when I saw your title, I thought it might be a baby’s behind…

I didn’t want to post my cat because I use my pets, often… and really *almost* posted toilet paper, too!! LOL!! =)

Very original! Would never have thought of it, but it definitely qualifies this week.
Wrote: Feb 23, 2007 at 11:48 pm
That’s definitely one of the most original I’ve seen so far this week. And you’re right about the rising costs!
Wrote: Feb 23, 2007 at 11:59 pm
Oh, Rose, that is what I almost posted, but I keep forgetting what brand was the ’soft’ brand and buy a different brand all the time trying to find it, so I didn’t want to “fake” soft. . . glad you have the real stuff. Certainly made me smile.

This is the first toilet paper I’ve seen today! Really, you never know how much you appreciate the soft kind until you are forced to use something else.
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 1:24 am
Oh, my . . .that’s hysterical and unlike Marcia, it never occurred to me!

LOL—that was the first thing that came to MY mind when I read it was ’soft’ this week!!
Mine’s posted
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 7:55 am
Perfect! Best picture I’ve seen yet. And you’re right. They are giving us less for more money.
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 8:04 am
Your son was very creative to come up with this idea. It is indeed something very important to be soft!
I agree with you, even these “super rolls” seem to have fewer and fewer sheets. I’m always changing the roll.
Have a wonderful Saturday.

Fun interpretation of the theme! Being a cat, I don’t use toilet paper, but I understand it’s use and softness is very important to humans!
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 8:53 am
Great entry. That’s very true. I noticed how the tissue rolls seem to shrink because manufacturers has given us fewer sheets per roll.
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 9:08 am
Now that’s a great entry for today’s theme.
H/H
Happy Hunting

Now.. this particular softness, I consider a “must have”.

Hey, I was just working on an adaptation of Cutline myself, actually, as I posted that last comment I saw the Cutline thing on the bottom of your page. I presume you didn’t adapt it yourself tho, from the other link. I need my two sidebars tho and 800 pixels across, which requires quite a bit more adaptation than I have time for at the moment. Do you find your search engine traffic doing well with this theme?? I’ve heard things….
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 3:31 pm
Too funny. Soft indeed!
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 3:53 pm
Hah! Great interpretation! And YES tp is outrageously high these days….we may have to go back to using the funny paper ;~)
Have a great weekend!
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 4:21 pm
That’s great! I wonder how many trees we kill for toilet paper? Happy weekend!
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 4:22 pm
The value of soft toilet paper can not be underestimated:) I accidentally bought the cheep, cheep single ply at Costco of all places. Apparently they put twice as much on the roll because it is single ply so it takes you twice as long to run out of the stuff. I have about 8 more rolls to use before I can buy the soft stuff again:)

I love your take on the theme! This just reminds me of my daughter who took a pack of 24 TP and rolled herself into it with the help of her little brother. I couldn’t take picture, it was a Saturday and we were religious then, but the memory can still make me giggle.
Did I mention she plasted Desitin all over her face so she will be all white?
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 6:52 pm
Now that is definitely something that needs to be soft!!
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 7:23 pm
That’s funny. I wasn’t expecting to open up the page and see toliet paper, even if it does fit the theme:smile:
Wrote: Feb 24, 2007 at 7:54 pm
MamaDuck , My husband Shawn did the modifications to the cutline theme. He owns Invision-Graphics.com.

Cute! Reminds me of the toilet paper advertisement in Malaysian TV of the softness of it’s brand.
Wrote: Oct 9, 2007 at 9:54 am
Great idea for the softness photo.
Now, I have a huge “beef” about toilet paper and here in Canada, it is the 2 taxes that we have to pay on it.
It looks like the government thinks that toilet paper is a luxury.
If it wasn’t such a “gross subject” I think I would like to start a national campaign to abolish the those taxes.
Your opinion on this subjet please….

Luxury vs necessity – I think you have a great point
Someone should get to the bottom of this issue!!
Wrote: Jul 25, 2008 at 12:39 am
I think TP is overrated.
I propose running water coz it costs less trees.
