Paint Shop Pro: Convert a Photo to a Pencil Sketch
February 6th, 2007 by Rose DesRochers · 7 Comments
It’s still cold here in Canada and I’m still hibernating in the house. I’m not a winter person at all. It is dark and gloomy outside and I think that I’m coming down with a cold. I was playing around in Jasc Paint Shop Pro today and I made the following pencil sketches.

What do you think?

Wow! Those are neat! I once had Paint Shop Pro on a computer that crashed. Seeing what you have accomplished encourages me to try again to try and fine the ID code so that I can install it again. (It’s rather absurd that I have all of these CDs of programs I have purchased and can’t find the codes needed to activate them).

OK, so now I want to play, too. Definitely caught the personality of the photo.

You can always trace a photo too and come out with really cool results. It’s a bit more tactile.

Wow, that is awesome. I wouldn’t mind having some of those done from images of my children!
I’m home with a sinus infection today. Bleck!
