I can offer you something that will be a real benefit to your blog. I’m offering ten bloggers a one way link. What are one way links you ask? One way links are links from other sites which link to you, but you do have to link back to them. It can be difficult to get such links especially from a site that has a good page rank. My blog has a page rank of five. How do you get a one way link on my blog? Just be one of the top ten commenters. It is that simple. Pretty cool, eh?

How is page rank figured out anyways?
I don’t think I get the whole page rank system. LOL

Well, I don’t need to take you up on this offer since I’ve had a link to you forever!
Who wouldn’t link back to such a great place?

Yoshi , Google’s definition of Page Rank.
Your PageRank is determined by the incoming links to your blog, as well as the page rank of the sites that are linking to your blog. Page
Rank is a way of rating a website or blog by its popularity.
PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value.
In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume
of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important”
weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.”

Thanks for the offer, but I’m clearly not blogging for popularity. LOL I’m just writing cause I love it…and the readers I have are terrific. If more come along, that is great. But I’m not competing for page ranks. So your offer is terrific, but you can hand out those ten opportunities to the bloggers who really do need to build traffic.

Em, I don’t have much control over the links that show in the top ten. It is a way to encourage more discussion from my readership and to show appreciation to them, by displaying their names linked to their blog if desired and number of comments they have made on my sidebar.
If someone comments on my blog often then their link may show in the top ten.
You don’t comment on my blog too often so I don’t think you will have to worry about it. If you should become a regular commenter on my blog and not wish for your link to be displayed then I will gladly add you to the filter user list.

It’s a GOOD thing!
I’m trying to learn how to upload this widget to my sidebar, but I’m new to WP, and haven’t been successfull connecting to my FTP to upload the files. I think it’s a great idea to give your commenters a one-way link.
