Have you ever had one of those weeks where you just knew that people were trying to make you go insane. Its been one of those weeks for me and I swear that people are purposely trying to push my buttons. Anyway, TGIF. I hope everyone had a better week than I did. Without further ado, I bring you my ‘Friday Feast.’
Appetizer: What was one of the fashion fads when you were a teenager?
I’m a teen of the 80’s. The 80’s were a time of mini-skirts, knickers, tube tops, stirrup pants, neon clothing, and zipper ankle jeans.
Soup: Name one thing you think people assume about you when they first meet you.
They assume that I’m a younger than I am.
Salad: On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how hard do you work?
I work extremely hard, but as of late I have been sort of slacking off and blogging too much.
Main Course: If you were given a free 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl to sell anything you currently own, what would you advertise?
I would advertise the 162 VHS tapes at the Today’s Woman store. ( No plug here .)
Dessert: Fill in the blank: I love to ________ when it is _________.
I love to cuddle when it’s cold out side.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Today’s appetizer is a good one. You can figure most of the ages. Some of my children were teens in the 80’s too.
Mine is served.

Stirrup pants. I had them in the ’80’s and that was my second time. We wore them in the 60’s, too. And then they reappeared. Yuck. I hope they stay gone this time.

People always assume I’m younger, too. In fact, most of my girlfriends are 20 years younger than I am.
I wonder what that says about my mentality? lol
(Hang in there on the tough week thing. It’s over and hopefully next week will be better?)

The main thing I can remember about the 80s is the crazy clothes and the movies.

I mentioned stirrup pants in my appetizer, too. I liked them—-so I’d be happy if they did come back! (Maybe I’d look pretty dorky, though!)

so you’re an 80’s babe too!
I remember tubetops , and don’t forget leg warmers! they’re coming back

I was a teen of the 80s too. Oh, I almost forgot about the stirrup pants. I loved wearing those. How flattering it must be to be mistaken for someone younger. I would welcome that kind of mistake anytime.
I like your dessert because I like doing that too.

I forgot about all the neon clothing and the plastic jelly shoes. I loved your dessert. We have about 50 VHS tapes that are gathering dust, that I’m wondering what to do with!
Happy Friday!

You’ll appreciate people thinking you are younger the older you get.
People always thought I was older, which I loved as a kid, but it is not so great now in my 40s.
Very nice dessert.
