    Hi Rose,
Interesting facts about blogging here. I had no idea that the highest amount of blog readers are Canadian! I also was surprised that there are more men bloggers than women.

Wow, I find it hard to believe that the majority of bloggers are men. And I think I know why so many Canadians read blogs…it’s so snowy and cold up there. lol

My TT is up on why I want snow.

Wow, 12 million! That is astonishing.
Wonder how many teenagers/young adults blog as well.
Interesting facts. I would’ve thought the number of blogging women would be higher than blogging men, actually.
    Thanks for sharing.

Well, Rose, I found those facts interesting! I had no idea blogs had been around for so long. I only heard about them in the last 4-5 years.

My list is posted, so if you have time, drop by!

I’ll argue the “web is better than sex” thing.

It just depends on who you’re having sex with, don’t it?

Hi there, I think this a very interesting TT!
Why do Canadians read the most? Well if you look at Canada with all it’s seclusion, I guess people need to find something to do… (No offense  )
And why is Xu Jinglei’s Blog the most read with 11 million hits since October last year and an average of 1000 comments per post?
There are currently over 1.3 billion citizens in China. There are about 30 million bloggers of which it is estimated that about 9 million are active. And why is she so successful? She is famous and her blog is written in a way that people can relate to her. She writes in a very “normal” open and honest way. I guess people like to think that they “know” her and that “if she is just a normal person, maybe we can become famous, too”.
Anyways, that is my theory on it.
    Happy TT.

Jeannie. I’m gathering that Canadians read the most blogs because we are more sociable and outgoing. Canadians are noted to be friendlier.

58,2 % of Canadians read blogs compared to 36.3% of the US.

Maybe us Canadians just like to read more. lol ( No offense)

Spain was right behind Canada with 51.4 % follow by France 45. 6 % and the UK at 45.1.

And your forgot the most important blogging fact: the number of cat bloggers! I can’t find the number at the moment, but it’s a surprisingly high percentage!

Wow, 12 million?? That’s amazing. I always think I read a lot of blogs and then I stumble upon a blog that I’ve never seen and they have a blogroll full of people I have never read and then THEY have a blogroll full of people I haven’t read and pretty soon, the day is gone.

I’m actually disappointed though, now that I’ve ready your list. I thought MY blog was the most popular in the world. Darn.

I remember when blogger came out. :P I refused to use it because I thought my system was better. Then I gave in. It’s almost too bad I didn’t retain my entries and imported them into blogger, but holy cow, I didn’t feel like copying and pasting them :P
