Have you ever observed fish in a fish tank after you have fed them? Frantic fish in a fish tank nibble at the food. With their hungry lips, they rise to the top to feast. Each day their lips are pressed to the glass. They feast until their fish gulls become full, yet if you don’t feed them for days they will eat the other fish in the tank.
Humans are much like frantic fish in a fish tank feisty. When they rise to the top they will eat their fellow man if they are hungry enough.
Turn your back for one moment and they will eat you alive. If given the chance, they will take advantage of you. Humans are the frantic fish in life’s murky waters.
Thinking about it, I would much rather have a dog that is loyal than a fish.

Nice post Rose! And so true too. Sometimes it’s hard to separate the big brained species based on their greed for power and money. ;o)

Nicely put as usual sweet Rose. I’ll need to go down stairs and stare at the two new fish we’ve just got next time they are fed.

Holly, sadly it is not just about money. Many people are selfish, they much rather get something without ever giving anything in return. They will take advantage of someones generosity because they can.

When there’s money and self riches involved, humans turn to beasts.
Its good to be poor with a clean heart of love rather than be rich and be a jerk !

Oh, YES, you write poetry. This is rather dark poetry, but “food for thought,” so to speak. I’m going to search for more of it.
