I just wanted to wish my readership a Happy New Year 2007. I hope 2007 has started off better for you than it has for me.
I spent the wee early morning hours hugging my toilet bowl. As I’m sitting here typing this post I have a splitting headache and my stomach is doing somersaults.
I’m not that excited for a new year. Another year has passed us by, what have you done to make this world a better place?
Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging. Will the war with Iran stop now?
On the first day of the new year, it is not just a good time to make a change in your own life, but the life of others.
I cannot help but wonder will 2007 bring us any closer to moving towards a better world than 2006 did or will it find us still in the midst of a society where people’s hearts are so full of hatred.
Every New Year’s Eve millions of people make New Year’s resolutions. My daughter even admitted that she had a few. Why wait to New Year’s Eve to make a resolution that you most likely won’t follow through with?
Did you make a New Year’s resolution? How many of last year’s New Year’s resolutions have you successfully kept?
Today is a new year. As John Lennon said, ” You may say that I’m a dreamer, But I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us and the world will live as one.”
Happy New Year!
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

I don’t make resolutions as you know from reading my anti post. I would like to do things, but don’t like the artificial idea of making goals for a new year. We used to laugh at people at the YMCA (my daughter is a gymnast there) because we could never find a place to park in Jan. (all those resolutions to exercise/lose weight) Usually by Feb. it was back to normal with plenty of parking! I hope the world situation improves; to be honest, I don’t see how it could get much worse! Take care.

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling well ((HUGS)) and yeah I never made any resolutions because I consider each day to be a day in which I can make a resolution.
We must all strive to make this world a better place so I’m not sure if 2007 will be any better than 2006 but there’s always hope for better days

Ow! Praying to the porcelain goddess is not a good way to start the year! Hope you are feeling better!
I don’t do resolutions, but I continually set goals for myself throughout the year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ROSE!

Hi
Hope you getting over the rumbles, lets hope you get ship shape quickly. I myself fell off a step ladder backwards onto a upturned stool six weeks ago, no broken bones but high on morphine for a time. Funny side it makes you lose a bit of your memory and I sent my wife two xmas cards! Nice quote of John Lennon so simple, so powerful. Happy New Year
