Thank you Pippa. I had already seen that post and I left a comment on Kate’s blog requesting that she contact me. I was unable to find any site scraping software. I checked the source code too. I do know that he is direct linking to one of my images, which I’ve replaced with a nice little treat for him. He must be using something as he has my post "<a title="Ezinearticles Author Pankaj Saini uses Missing Children Website to promote Teen Porn " href="http://rosedesrochers.todays-woman.net/2006/07/10/ezinearticles-author-pankaj-saini-uses-missing-children-website-to-promote-teen-porn/">Ezinearticles Author Pankaj Saini uses Missing Children Website to promote Teen Porn</a>" right on his website.

Rose, kate (http://foritisi.blogspot.com) left this on my post about the paedophile guy. She gave me her permission to forward it 2 u.

Kate says: "Ooh, it makes you shudder doesn;t it. How creepy. People like that are definitely the downside of the net.

Rose, I didn't go to the site, but looking at the extract Chris posted, I think the content is being stolen using site scraping software. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you should see a link to the company that provide it. I had the same thing happen to posts of mine, but thankfully, they weren't being used in this context. However, I complained to the makers, nothing was done, but due to the subject matter it might be worth you sending off a complaint. They may not mind their product being used for spam, but this kind of pron is a different matter.

If they remove his license to use the product, it takes away the tool he is using to steal your content in the first place"

Hope this helps.

I couldn't have said it better and I totally agree. I think too many parents want the site owners to be the guardians and the watchdogs when in reality it may be the responsible thing to do but it is ultimately a choice not a responsibility. The responsibility falls on the parents. Just the other day I was chatting with an old HS friend who mentioned his 16 yr old and 14 yr old are both on MySpace. I suggested that if they were he should be too for the sake of monitoring them. His response, "Oh they are good kids". I have no doubt they are but my response to him was "Do you remember being a teenager?". Of course he does but he didn't seem phased. Instead he pooh poohed me with a syrupy sweet "you're such a good mommy". UGH! When will we all learn?
