Birds Nest

My son found a bird’s nest with a baby bird trapped inside it. Some string from the nest was tangled around the bird’s leg.

It appeared that the more he tried to free himself, the more entwined he became. My husband calmed the bird down and was able to unwrap the string from his leg. There appeared to be no damage to him. Here is a picture of our freed feathered friend.

hey rose. I love birds, and have about 15 chickens inc 2 roosters! I am not sure what kind of bird that is, but its s beautiful pic for a drawing My best friend here in tx raises and tames wild birds.. he has a little starling right now. it is tame and now little “skeeter” is truvey’s sidekick
Tomorrow and every sunday I post 5 drawings..Tomorrow I’ll psot some bird art.

Ps: The bird is a baby chickadee, I do believe.
