In a press release that can be read on Lindsay Ashford’s website, he proudly boasts about how Save the Children – an organization that helps children in poverty and children in crisis around the world and in the US graciously accepted the donations of a coalition of girl lovers made in honor of Alice Liddell.
The donation made under Girl lovers Todd Nickerson’s name totaled $1000.00.
I emailed Save the Children today and received an email from Eileen Burke, who informed me that they have returned a cheque to Todd Nickerson.

We deeply appreciate you contacting us. This is a new problem that has just come to our attention. We were alerted today by another concerned citizen like yourself to the content of this blog and the nature of this donation. We were not aware of the reputation of this group or the person who sent the donation. Save the Children is an advocate for the protection – not the exploitation – of children. We are actively looking at ways to see how we can prevent this in the future. In the meantime, we have cut a check and returned the donation in the mail today.

Eileen Burke of Save the Children, sent me a second email informing me that they have contacted the Connecticut Attorney General regarding this matter.
It’s a shame that an organization as wonderful as Save the Children would be used in this manner.

So let me get this straight…. Save the children have refused to give money to poverty-stricken children, and everyone celebrates?
Whatever your views on paedophillia and the paedophile blogging community are, they should not prevent aid from going to where it’s needed.
The children are the only losers here. I’m horrifed that STC and anyone else would do something like this for their own selfish opinions, and I intend writing to them right away.

It’s a shame that this type individual will attempt to use a reputable organization to build their reputation as a child advocate knowing full well what their ultimate intentions with that reputation will be used for.
Save The Children in my opinion made the best move that could have been made for the sake of children. Isn’t funny though how “Twilight_Sky” uses this to again look favorable in people’s eyes and, like the only thing that was meant by the gesture was child welfare.
Pedophiles never sop trying to use anything possible to gain their ends.
My hat is off to Save The Children. Job well done.

I,too am glad you followed through..I have been waiting on the bragging to start from LA and TN. The money they returned will be more than doubled. They clearly stated in one of their rooms that they needed to do this donation so they could be seen in a more respectable light…you know…if we give money..they will know we really love kids thing…makes me wanna puke. If they really loved kids,they would remove their heads from their fannies ,get help, and quit seeing children as sex toys. Thanks for doing the right thing.

Unfortunately for him, he’s rather stupid as I’m sure you’ve noticed from his statements above. He can most certainly donate money for childrens causes, sure he can, but not in the name of pedophilia.
Put your name to it twilight….without any group/label affiliation. Don’t donate money to obtain free advertising and then accuse us of being selfish. If we were selfish we wouldn’t be spending so much time on this. We spend time on it because our children are important to us. We don’t work hard for our children for a pat on the back or public recognition. Step outside yourself and take a long hard look.

I am speaking of the UN. Heck, they even have some of your number amongst their “peacekeepers” in Africa.

Im so sick.Iv just watched a documentary on bbc2 about lindsay ashford why the hell is he still allowed to communicate with society,something has to be done, he thinks seven year olds are ready for a relationship???I have never felt so sick or angry in my life and if I can help at alll please contact me!
