Billy Bragg: Music Artist pulls songs from MySpace
June 9th, 2006 by Rose DesRochers · 5 Comments
I meant to blog this yesterday, but I got sidetracked. Recent news is that Singer songwriter Billy Bragg has pulled his songs from MySpace as he fears it could be used without his permission. It had something to do with a cause in the terms of service. Hmm, could it be this cause, I wonder?

I’ve never heard of him. But keeping it there could have drawn more music lovers to him- maybe even me.

I see why he removed it. MySpace has legal right to publish or distribute any of his music without compensation to him.

Hi Rose, Bonnie here. Good topic: terms of service, and that fine print. I wonder if Billy Bragg (I haven’t heard of him either) consulted an attorney.
I have some good news. An online stock photo agency accepted my photos for representation. To photo editors, designers, etc., they sell your images. The photographer gets a percentage. I’ll keep the Blog Forum posted when I’ve completed all the transactions, including reading all the fine print. LOL.
Well, guess I’ll see ya’
