Sweet Gesture

I had been meaning to get this photo up, but with hubby’s surgery, I forgot.
Our children made us a lovely anniversary dinner last weekend. They even made us a cake.
Of course they didn’t use all the icing in the bowl, because they wanted to eat the rest, but here is a picture of the finished project.

It really was a sweet gesture.

Okay, that is the sweetest thing EVER. And for the record… I always have to make extra frosting because I have to eat as I ice! I think it should be mandatory in cake making.

I think that was very sweet of your children. It is so special when they do something with their own hands. Thanks for sharing your cake with us…

My daughter makes me things every now and then, but shortly after she gives it to me, she wants it back. LOL!
Happy belated Anniversary, Rose!
