My husband has not regained any feeling in his hand and the doctors are highly doubtful that he will. The good thing is that he can use it. From time to time he still experiences pain. I’m sorry to hear of your condition.

I should also advise you that my doctor told me that the nerve grows back an inch per month, but after time progressed depending on where the problem is it could take a long time and as time grows longer you lose more and more of the muscle and it might not work again. Im not very educated on this topic yet but hope to be as my time progresses. Have you heard anything like i just mentioned because i may have misunderstood since i was a bit emotional after the nerve tests they did.

Hi. I have the same scar on my arm i broke my funny bone August 2006 and they had to move my alner nerve. I have no feeling in my baby finger or the right side of my ring finger til i get above my wrist bone. I recently had an MGI ( i think thats what it was called) and it was a horrible painful experience) this was just to find out that it has been pinched or isnt connected properly. Im wondering if your husband has any hope of regaining the feeling back in his hand. My finger feels like a dagger is being stabbed through it and is cold.

Im just hoping to hear that there is hope of the feeling coming back and if something can be done.

DEFINITLY looking forward in going back to my orthopedic surgeon after i had that MGI test.

I hope that your husband is recovering. That is a nasty photo. It's like a car wreck, I don't want to look but I can't bring myself to look away.
