This year we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a nice intimate dinner at home and a movie.
Shawn prepared chicken Kiev, chicken primavera, stuffed potatoes, garlic bread, and cherry cheesecake for desert. Boy, can he cook! I also had a nice glass of white wine, slightly chilled.
I was spoiled with roses, a teddy bear, candy, chocolate, the works.
As if that wasn’t enough; he went out and bought me a new computer desk. I love it. I’ve been waiting patiently for a new desk and now it’s here. Lucky me!
Now you may be asking yourself, “wasn’t she going to boycott Valentine’s Day.”
The answer is ‘Yes, but everyday is Valentines Day to us.’
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

You have been blessed my friend. My hubby was working nights but he did manage to get me 3 cards (I guess one didn’t say enough) and a Precious Moments of a little boy holding flowers that said, ” I picked you to love”. This was more than enough for me. Pete and I had our romantic evening on his days off with dinner, a dip in the hot tub and a glass of wine. Ain’t life wonderful.

Becky it sure is. I’m glad that you and Pete spent some time together. One must always make time in their life for romance.
