I received another strange email last week. This time it came through my feedback form at Today’s Woman Writing Community. Norman has a question for the staff at Today’s Woman. He wants to know:

The Many faces of Mya- a female Shih Tzu
November 14th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 4 Comments
Christmas came early for me this year. My husband bought me an early Christmas gift.
I think he’s trying to make up for the coffee percolator that he bought me 20 years ago on our first Christmas together. A Shih-Tzu puppy definitely makes up for it, but I’ll never forget that coffee percolator.

My Fall on Stairs
November 13th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 6 Comments
Monday evening the back outdoor stairs were slippery, because of the evening dew. My foot slipped out from under me on the first step, and I fell down the stairs with puppy in arms. Thankfully she wasn’t hurt. I bruised my elbow and I have a huge bruise on my thigh.

National Diabetes Month-World Diabetes Day
November 11th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 2 Comments
November is National Diabetes Month. Diabetes, is also known as the silent killer. Though all health issues are a concern for me, this one is very close to my heart. I have seen first hand both the complications and the long term effects of diabetes. My mother suffered with diabetes for years. My mother also suffered two strokes, had kidney failure, heart problems and poor eye site– all conditions linked to diabetes. She also had two toes amputated due to her diabetes. In 2001, this terrible disease took my mother from me.

Bad at Directions - Joke is on me
November 6th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 8 Comments
My husband thinks he’s funny. Tonight we made a stop at a gas station in Shannonville. I had to really use the rest room. Hubby dearest pointed over to two doors at the gas station. He told me that the rest rooms were over there, to just go inside and ask the gas attendant for the key. I was uncomfortable using a gas station rest room, but he ensured me that he had used the rest rooms there before and that they were clean.

Thoughts Las Vegas Vacation- I am Invited
November 5th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 2 Comments
I was invited to Vegas.
Regular readers of this blog will likely remember my October 18th post, where I offered my thoughts on thoughts.com. Stupid me, rejoined the community after being invited back by a fellow member who told me that they were sorry to see me go. What a huge mistake rejoining was. I should have really learned the first time. Why I went back for more abuse I’ll never know. Tonight, I decided enough was enough already and I left for good.
Before leaving though, I needed to get some things off my chest. I wrote my favorite moderator “Wayne” a letter and left it on my blog at “Thoughts”.
Oh, let me share the letter with you. (Before, you click on more allow me to apologize for some of the language in the post.)

If you can’t afford to purchase photo editing software, there are a number of image editing programs available that you can download at no charge. These programs allow you to both create and edit your images. I compiled a list of just a few of the photo editors out there.

Googletestad - A meaningless Keyword
November 2nd, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 2 Comments
The term “Googletestad” appears to be popular in both searches and results. According to Wikipedia, Googletestad appears to stand for Google’s Test Ad, which is used for live testing of Google’s AdWords and AdSense pay-per-click (PPC) advertising system.
In my opinion, this is an unusual keyword. But surprisingly and strangely enough, according to WordTracker free keyword selection tool, the word Googletestad resulted in 16011 searches. Wow!
