How to get to Sesame Street”

Sesame Street was a part of my childhood and if you’re under 40 it was likely a part of your childhood too.

If you’ve used Google lately then you know that “Sesame Street” has taken over Google’s Doodle! Google will be using “Sesame Street Doodles” until Nov. 10 in celebration of the show’s 40th season. Sesame Street first premiered on November 10, 1969. It’s hard to believe “Sesame Street” has been around for 40 years.

Commemorating their 40th anniversary a new DVD “Sesame Street: 40 Years of Sunny Days,” is set to be released Nov 10th.

My daughter was suppose to received the H1N1 vaccination on Sunday. She woke up with a fever and was unable to get the H1N1 flu shot.

My daughter phones me tonight to inform me that she went to the clinic and has been diagnosed with H1N1. She was prescribed 75 mg of Tamiflu to be taken twice a day for five days.

I hope my readers have a Happy Halloween. If you’re taking the children out trick or treating tonight remember be sure to bundle up, stay in well-lit areas and bring some hand sanitizer along.

Drivers also please be careful of children out and about.

The H1N1 flu is putting quite the scare in Halloween. ( Note my comment regarding bringing hand sanitizer along with you.)

2009 Must Have Toys

The Buzz Lightyear Toy has come to life.

I was surprise when I read that one of this years most popular toys for the 2009 Christmas season was Disney Toy Story Interactive Buzz and Woody Dolls.

It took me back to memories of my son’s childhood. My son was a huge “Toy Story” fan as a toddler. Toy Story was always in our DVD VHS player. I can’t believe it’s been 14 years since this movie came out.
